Welcome to the West Coast Global Insurance Services Event Insurance division. We provide Event Liability Insurance that protects event holders from claims made against them due to injury to guests and damage to the venue. If an attendee gets injured at an event, the event holder could be responsible for thousands of dollars without insurance protection. Therefore, it is crucial to have coverage for any unexpected incidents that might occur.

One question that often arises is why the venue requires renters to get Event Liability Insurance. Even though the venue has its own insurance, it will not cover the renter if they are responsible for the injury or damage. In most cases, the venue’s insurance only provides coverage for its own actions. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain Event Liability Insurance to ensure that the event holder is protected.

If you are planning to hold an event at someone else’s space, such as a meeting, party, or wedding ceremony, you will need Event General Liability insurance. Most venues require this coverage to protect both the event holder and themselves from claims of injury to attendees and damage to the venue. Always check the rental agreement for the venue’s insurance requirements, and if they don’t specify what type of insurance is required, make sure to check what you will be held responsible for.
